Weekend Reading: Soreness, Icing, and Minimalist Shoes August 10, 2012

Not going to lie. I’m ready for the weekend.
It has been quite an eventful week, moving 100 miles an hour since Monday morning and I’m in need of a break. What will that consist of, you ask? Oh, I don’t know. My roommates are out of town all weekend, so you know what that means…go to the movies by myself! Ha, I’m kidding (I’m totally not kidding). Hey, the fact that I go to the theater by myself doesn’t make me less of a man, I will still see an action-packed, hard-hitting, masculine-movie [Disney-Pixar's "Brave"].
Enough about me. This post is about people much smarter. Every Friday I will be giving you 3 articles to read over the weekend (1 Friday, 1 Saturday, 1 Sunday). Or you can go ahead and skim them all now and be lazy for a few days, I know that’s what you’ll do bum. Most times they will be thought provoking (I hope), since everything I write tends to be dry, and most likely leaves you asleep at your computer, drooling all over your keyboard. Without further adieu, I give you:
Can You Be Too Sore To Work Out? Kathryn Siegel
People, We’ve Got to Stop Icing. We Were Wrong, Sooo Wrong. Kelly Starrett
When To Wear Minimalist Shoes Dean Somerset
Enjoy your newly educated weekend.
